The Loft is brand new construction, beautiful, bright, ultra clean, 2 bedrooms plus large spacious loft guesthouse in Nanaimo, BC. A 20 foot vaulted ceiling boasts 4 skylights, a grand look with a cozy feel. Fully furnished with a private fenced patio that invites relaxation and soaking up the afternoon and evening sun. Located in a safe, residential neighborhood steps from Diver Lake where guests can paddle board, kayak, fish, play tennis, walk in the trails and just enjoy the outdoors.

Centrally located in Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island, The Loft is 7 minutes away from Nanaimo Regional General Hospital – ideal for locums and health care professionals visiting the island.

The Loft is located in a safe, residential neighborhood two houses from Diver Lake Park and hopes to invite guests who are looking for a more relaxing visit. It is close to ferry terminals, bus routes, and easy highway access to travel to all of your favourite parts of Vancouver Island – Victoria, Tofino, Parksville, Coombs and more. Shopping and dining is around the corner with restaurants, grocery stores, movie theatres, cafes, beer, wine, clothing and more etc.

The newly built Loft guesthouse is brand new and is situated on the same property as the owners and is attached to the house. The Loft is completely private on the right side of the property with a private fenced patio and it’s own french door entrance off the patio. The Loft is a fully furnished and has everything a house needs. On the main floor is 2 bedrooms- one queen size bed in the one bedroom and a bunk bed in the second room with a double bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top. The bathroom has a shower with a rain shower head, sink, toilet and stacker washer and dryer. You enter the Loft into the great kitchen and entertaining space surrounded by windows and gorgeous light. Upstairs in the loft itself is 300 square feet of comfy couches and a hide-a-bed for an extra person to sleep and a large TV for watching your favourite shows.

Guests are invited to walk to Diver Lake to go, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, play tennis, ride bikes at the BMX track, watch their kids play at the playground or run around at the ball field at finish at the lake entrance to feed the ducks. Guest can walk through the lush and wildlife friendly trails to see eagles, beavers, turtles, rabbits, blue herons, frogs, Canada Geese and more. Diver Lake Park is a pretty cool little park that offers an abundance of outdoor adventure. Please note Diver Lake is not a swimming lake. However, a quick hop over the highway from Diver Lake Park is another Lake called Long Lake where guests can swim, boat, water ski, jet ski, rent canoes and kayaks and hang out on the beach and relax. For guests who like a little extra activity in their day, guests can walk to Long Lake for a quick dip in the lake or walk to Beban Recreation Centre to swim at an indoor pool, work out in the fitness centre, play par 3 golf, hit the driving range, play tennis, or bike at the Stevie Smith Bike Park to ride the pump track or for more adventurous bikers, ride the dirt jumps!

Free parking is available on-site as well as on the street. Or for those without a vehicle, the bus stop is literally at the entrance of the street one house away. The E & N Parkway is a path that runs parallel to Highway 19 from North to South Nanaimo for those who are interested to cycle. The E & N Parkway takes only a couple of minutes to get too from The Loft.

The Loft guesthouse is a completely separate house attached to the main house where the owners live. Guests can enjoy their space all to themselves.
